日本最小のシャチホコガ。
前翅の色彩は個体変異がある。
触角は♂♀とも両櫛歯状だが、♀の櫛歯は短い。
♂の尾端は前翅外縁から突出する。
分布：北海道、本州、四国、
極東ロシア
成虫出現月：5〜9
寄主植物：ヤマナラシ、ポプラなどヤナギ科
