　コパン遺跡アクロポリス西広場の暗黒の神イークの像。
吠え猿（Howler Monkey)の顔をして、左手にガラガラおもちゃ（Rattle)を握り、口角から蛇が這い出している。
コパン（Copán）は、ホンジュラス西部にある古典期マヤの大都市、1980年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録された。

Among the Classic Mayas, the howler monkey god was a major deity of the arts-including
music-and a patron of the artisans, especially of the scribes and sculptors.
